He was chased away from public school because he was gay and now he’s back, not only for Kurt but for himself because he wants to prove to himself that he’s better than what happened in his past. He does know what will happen if they kiss, though. You can see the pain in his eyes. He just wants to act like a normal couple. He wants to be able to show his love for Kurt, but he can’t. They can’t. Not yet, anyway. But don’t you worry, Blainers, there will be a day where you can kiss you boyfriend and not have to worry about what happens. There will be a day where you can walk down the hall, holding your boyfriend’s hand. You just have to take baby steps, but it will happen.
